Draw MD – a powerful tool for patient education

Understanding a urological problem, investigation or procedure is important for patients if they are to be actively involved in their care. Nick Brook uses a powerful iPad application in consultations, which has been written to give patients an insight into urology problems and treatments.
Diagrams can be annotated and personalised during the clinic, to accurately describe urology problems and their solutions. These can then be printed or emailed to patients, to look at in their own time. This can help recall information from a consultation, and can be useful of you want to discuss your treatment with family.
